With the D2 Duo 1000/1000 AirTTL 2-Light Kit, Profoto offers two advanced high-performance 1000W/s monolights with power cords and a padded case. At 0.03-1.2 sec, the D2 is almost twice as fast as its predecessor and capable of 20 flash per second bursts. Other features include wireless TTL with the separately purchased Air Remote TTL-C for Canon and TTL-N for Nikon, action-freezing flash durations and High Speed Sync support up to 1/8000 sec.
The D2 1000 recycles to full power in 1.2 seconds, almost half the time as the D1 1000, and in Freeze Mode, achieves flash durations as short as 1/50,000 of a second, outperforming most studio pack systems. That's good news for special effects photographers and sports shooters. It can also shoot bursts of 20 flashes per second so you're sure to capture peak action or several versions of it. In addition, the D2 also supports High Speed Sync up to 1/8000 of a second for photographers who want to stop action or use wide apertures with full ambient light control.
